Supportive Housing Program
The Supportive Housing Program provides non-medical care 24 hours a day, seven days a week to residents who require on-site assistance that enable them to remain in their own apartments. Care is provided by qualified staff to residents of 12 Hudson Street only who are clients of the program.
» Program Components
- Homemaking (i.e. meal preparation, laundry).
- Personal hygiene activities (i.e. preventive skin care, mouth care).
- Routine personal activities of daily living (i.e. dressing, transferring).
» Eligibility
Seniors or physically disabled adults who reside at 12 Hudson Street, Blind River.
» Cost
This program is available at no cost to eligible residents of 12 Hudson Street.
» Staffing
The program is staffed by qualified, bilingual Personal Support Workers.
