Smoking is Not Permitted
Smoking is not permitted within any indoor space of the Blind River District Health Centre.
Smoking is allowed in designated areas outside of the building; however the smoker must be a distance of at least 9 meters from the doors.
The intakes for the air circulation system are situated in close proximity to the front entrance, therefore smokers are asked to please respect the distance of 9 meters
Staff and patients are allowed to smoke within the Acute Care courtyard; residents of Golden Birches are permitted to smoke within the west courtyard in the designated area.
