Patient/Resident Satisfaction Surveys
Blind River District Health Centre is dedicated to measuring, monitoring and improving what matters most to our patients about their health care experiences. We appreciate the time taken by the patient and/or families to complete the surveys.
Indicators measured include: Acute Care, Emergency Care & Patient Satisfaction - Long-Term Care.
Blind River District Health Centre is dedicated to measuring, monitoring and improving what matters most to our employees. A positive work culture has a direct effect on the quality of care we deliver to our patients/residents.
Indicators measured include: Staff Satisfaction, Rate of Annual Performance Appraisal Completion, Percent of Paid Sick Time taken by all Employees & Percent of Paid Overtime for Nurses.
Risk Management/Patient Safety
The delivery of safe and effective patient/resident care is a strategic priority for the Blind River District Health Centre. When we regularly monitor and review our specific patient/resident safety indicators, we can use this information to put protective and/or new processes in palce to minimize risk to the patient/residents.
Indicators measured include: Medication Incidents - Acute Care & Long-Term Care, Hospital Acquired Infection Rates, Patient/Resident Falls, Hand Hygiene Audit, Pressure Sores - Long Term Care, & Medication Reconciliation.
