On Site Services
Within the Blind River District Health Centre there are also other services that operate as separate entities.
» The Services are:
Algoma EMS
- Located in the east end of the Health Centre, two ambulances are housed.
- It has two ambulance bays, staff facilities, as well as the Health Centre's Emergency Department's “drive thru” bay.
- This base is staffed with one ambulance on site for 12 hours (7am to 7pm) and on standby for 12 hours (7pm to 7am).
- Overnight accommodations and light housekeeping facilities on-site.
