The Blind River District Health Centre Community Support Program offers Volunteer Income Tax preparation clinics to eligible individuals who are unable to complete their own returns. Clinics operate between February and April of each year. Individuals who are unable to pay for their income tax preparation and who have limited incomes and simple tax situations should contact the Community Support Program Coordinator at 356-2265 Ext. 2455 for further details.
Volunteers do not complete income tax and benefit returns for deceased persons, bankrupt individuals, or individuals who have capital gains or losses, employment expenses, or business or rental income and expenses.

The Canada Revenue Agency provides free volunteer income tax training sessions to program volunteers.
