Community Outreach Program
The Community Support Outreach Program provides non-medical care 12 hours a day, seven days a week to individuals who require assistance that enables them to remain in their own homes. Care is provided by qualified staff to individuals of urban Blind River who are clients of the program.
» Program Components
- Homemaking (i.e. meal preparation, laundry).
- Personal hygiene activities (i.e. preventive skin care, mouth care).
- Routine personal activities of daily living (i.e. dressing, transferring).
» Eligibility
Seniors or physically disabled adults who reside in urban Blind River.
» Cost
This program is available at no cost to eligible residents of Blind River.
» Staffing
The program is staffed by qualified Personal Support Workers. Bilingual Services are available upon request.
