
» Adult Day Program
The Adult Day program provides a warm, cozy, homelike atmosphere for the cognitively impaired and the frail elderly. The program is located in a Senior Citizens' Complex at 12 Hudson St., Blind River. Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Participation in the program is based on the individual needs of the participants.

- to maximize the abilities of the registrants by providing them with activities geared to their individual potential.
- to delay institutionalization of the cognitively impaired and the frail elderly of the North Shore region.

The program is staffed by qualified professionals
» Activities
The program provides activities such as:
- Activities of daily living (e.g. self-grooming, food preparation, etc.).
- Arts and crafts
- Fun and fitness
- Interaction with others
» Cost
The cost of the program is $9.00 per day ($4.50 for a half day). This price includes daily snacks and a hot nutritional lunch.

Transportation options are available on an individual basis.
